STREAMS©
reports have customized filters, which allow you to choose the population and timeframe you want to report. For example, you can
filter the reporting population to contain all of the agency’s programs or
only report participants enrolled in a specific program. Because STREAMS©
maintains historical information, many of the reports also allow you to
choose the point in time or time range for which the report will run.

Once the user chooses which report to run, STREAMS© provides a
window typical to the one shown above which allows the user to choose the information to contain in
the report. In this example, the user can choose to filter the Developmental Assessment Results report by:
•
Program:
Because an agency can use STREAMS© to report across the entire program it
administers, the user can choose to include in the report all the children
enrolled in any of the agency’s program or just the children enrolled in a
particular program such as Early Head Start.
• Active
Status: Because STREAMS© tracks enrollment history in all the agency’s
programs, the user can choose to include in the report only currently enrolled
children or children who were enrolled during a specific timeframe.
•
Early
Childhood Education (ECE) Participation: The user can choose to
include in the report all children under 6 years old, children who are
participating in ECE or children who are not participating in ECE.
•
Assessment:
Because STREAMS© tracks all the historical developmental assessments
entered in the system, in this example, the user can choose the first
developmental assessment received, the most recent developmental
assessment received, or the developmental assessment received at a
particular point in time for the children listed in the report.
