• STREAMS© is a web-based database application that was developed using state of the art software technology. The software application uses the development languages Microsoft .Net Framework and Visual Basic.Net and the Microsoft industry standard relational database SQL Server.

• STREAMS© provides easy networking across agency sites.The program is capable of running as a stand alone, on a local network for agencies that operate multiple facilities, or via the intranet or internet.

• The system runs on a PC with a Windows Professional Operating System.

• STREAMS© has the capability of storing data locally or on a server creating a data warehouse option in which data is stored and maintained by 3Soft USA. Running the application through the internet and storing the data on a central server minimizes the agency’s need for technical software support.

• Built-in security features ensure that data are safe and accessed by authorized agency staff only. The agency will decide which staff members have access to the system and to which information and functions. Because the security feature is built into the SQL Server software, it is flexible and easily managed.

• The system was built with flexibility in mind understanding the need to grow and adapt as program needs change.
